Berkshire LNP Vacancy - Local Nature Partnership Officer

Fixed Term for one year (Funding Limited Project)

The aim of the Berkshire LNP is to work together to create a sustainable, healthy and vibrant Berkshire; ensuring that Berkshire remains an attractive place to live and work. We will do this by promoting the conservation and enhancement of nature, and the benefits we all receive from a healthy environment. By working in partnership we ensure that resources are spent effectively and that we are all working together for the same aim; to protect and enhance our natural environment and the services it provides us.

The LNP Officer (Berkshire) will help to promote the conservation and enhancement of the Natural Environment in Berkshire. Working closely with the LNP Executive group and Steering group, you will support conservation activity within Berkshires Biodiversity Opportunity Areas (BOAs), working with local groups to develop delivery plans and build networks. You will help to build relationships with a range of stakeholders from business, education, health, landowners and community groups. You will also help to identify new sources of revenue to deliver improvements for biodiversity across the area.

There is flexibility regarding how the 22.2 hrs are distributed across the week.

For an informal discussion regarding this opportunity please call Oliver Cripps on 01488685440. You can find out more about the Local Nature Partnership at
