Data Searches

We are the only organisation in Berkshire and Oxfordshire providing a comprehensive environmental information hub.

We hold high quality data about species, habitats and sites. See TVERC Data for further information.

Our standard format is a desktop biodiversity report, supplied as a pdf document, but we can tailor the service to suit your needs.

Before submitting a data request, it is important that you read and understand the following guidance notes:
Charges and Response Times
Quote guidelines
Terms and Conditions

Data search request

Please use our online form to submit a request. We will process the request, usually within 24 hours, and send you a quote which needs to be signed and returned, after which we usually complete searches within 10 working days.

Please note we do note supply formal quotes to be included in quotes for project tendering. In such cases please see our quote guidelines or call us for a quick informal idea of the cost

The majority of searches will incur a charge, please see our charging policy. As a non-profit organisation, TVERC uses our income to sustain the services we provide to the local recording community, who in turn share their data with us, so we can share it with you!

Important Note: Ancient Woodland in Bracknell Forest and Wokingham Borough.

If you are planning on reporting on ancient woodland using the data shown on Magic, Natural England have yet to update this with data with the latest information within these two Council areas. TVERC and the Council's do have this data and for accurate reporting you should add ancient woodland into your data request.
