There are still places on the Woodland Plant ID course being held in BBOWT’s Nature Discovery Centre on May 21st from 10am till 4pm.

The trainer is Oxfordshire Biodiversity Officer Julie Kerans.

This course will be an introduction to woodland plants with information on common species, field characters to look for and the use of botanical keys. We will look at a range of species including trees, shrubs, wildflowers and grasses. This course is suitable for beginners.

It will be classroom based but, if the weather is reasonable, will include a short trip to some nearby woodland.

Outdoor session will involve short drive to Bowdown woods.

Tea and coffee only available in the morning.

Bring suitable outdoor clothing and footwear and a packed lunch (or order in advance at their café)

Each course costs £60
Professionals will be charged £120
Students £30*
*There are limited student places available on each course & given on a first come first served basis. (Scanned copy of student ID will be required at time of booking).
No refund will be made on cancellations made less than one month before the course. Courses may be cancelled if insufficient numbers book on the course and refunds made.
