Wildlife Restoration. TVERC Spring Recorders’ Conference: 4 March 2017

Our Thames Valley Environmental Records Centre (TVERC) Spring Recorders’ Conference will be held this year on 4 March 2017, with the theme of wildlife restorationWe hope you can join us for another excellent conference. Come out of winter hibernation for discussions about local recording and talks about different challenges in the restoration of species and habitats.

Summary conference content

We have two excellent guest speakers:

  • Lisa Lane of BBOWT re meadow restoration
  • Merryl Gelling of WildCRU discussing water vole re-introductions

There are also a four great afternoon workshops to choose from and take part in.

Our Recorders’ Conferences, as ever, offer an excellent chance to meet up with others interested in recording biodiversity and to hear and share news through our popular speed update slots. In the refreshment and lunch breaks you will also be able to browse a variety of  posters and leaflets from different environmental and recording groups in the area and chat with other recorders and local wildlife project members. The venue will be the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology at Wallingford.
