Sunday 6th August, 0930 - 1230. Chimney Meadows nature reserve, near Bampton, Oxfordshire.

Free training is offered from the BBOWT mammal project officer on water vole ecology and survey techniques. On this half day training session you will learn all of the field signs of water voles and other river mammals along with the appropriate survey techniques for locating them.

This event is run in partnership with the RSPB.

Attendees will be trained with a view to them completing some surveys independently in the following weeks.

Attendees must be physically fit as surveying will involve rough terrain and steep river banks.
