Oxfordshire Fens Project - Scything Course for Beginners - Saturday 25th April 10am - 3pm

Want to help restore fens habitats in Oxfordshire? Join the Oxfordshire Fens Project in this 1 day course.

Hinksey Heights Golf Club House and Fen

Park in Golf Course Car park OX1 5AB, West of the A34 western bypass at the South Hinksey turn

Please arrive at 9.45 for 10 am, finish 3 pm

Coffee and biscuits provided but please bring a pack lunch, gloves (for when sharpening the scythes), waterproofs, hat, sunscreen, insect repellent.

There will be an opportunity to order scythes and kit etc. at the end of the day if you wish (£135 for the necessary things) Clive will take measurements and orders and deliver at an Oxford venue.

The course fee is £20, refundable if you then attend two work parties at Hinksey Heights Fen (held on the second Sunday of the month).

There will also be a continuation course later in the year.
