Saving Oxfords Wetland Wildlife FREE talk - 20th Jan

Saving Oxfords Wetland Wildlife is a Freshwater Habitats Trust project funded by Thames Water and TOE2 to help:

  • Maximise environmental and community benefit of the Oxford Flood Alleviation Scheme
  • Create a major new wetland greenspace on the west side of Oxford for people and wildlife

Join them on their next upcoming FREE talk by David Morris, BSBI Vice County Recorder for Oxfordshire, on 'What makes a wetland plant?'  David will explore some of the adaptations and life histories of our local wetland plants, and explain why we need to understand these in order to conserve threatened species.

Monday 20th January at 7:30pm, at South Hinksey Village Hall, OX1 5AS.

To book your space or more information, please contact Ellie Mayhew, emayhew@freshwaterhabitats.org.uk, 07894 036363.
