Dr Mark Avery talk - June 9th

Dr Mark Avery is giving a talk on his latest book, Inglorious; Conflict in the Uplands, as part of the Oxford Festival of Nature next month.

Mark has been very active recently on the controversial subject of driven grouse shooting and illegal killing of birds of prey in the British uplands. This promises to be a very interesting talk, an opportunity to find out more about the subject and ask Mark questions face to face.

The talk is on Thursday 9th June from 7.00-8.30pm at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History. Tickets are £3 and are available on BBOWT's events page here. The lecture theatre at the museum seats 300 and it would be great to fill it if we can! Mark will also be selling copies of his book on the night, should anyone be inspired to purchase one.

Please do check out the other events going on during the Festival of Nature in case there are other things that take your interest.
