Baby grass snake

Do you have any images that we could use in TVERC publications such as reports, newsletters, website and leaflets?

You would be helping TVERC to further the interest in the work that we undertake in conserving our wonderful wildlife. We will show the best images on our website. Please read our consent form for information on how we may use your photos, fill it in and upload it along with your photos or e-mail it to us.

The photos would need to be:

  • Copyright free but normally acknowledged.
  • In one or two cases we could use them without acknowledging the photographer (e.g. pull-up banners).
  • High resolution.
  • Well-lit (in sunshine or very good light).
  • Close up for species.
  • Good focus.
  • Notable and protected species are particularly useful.

The following categories would be most useful to us:

  • Birds
  • Insects
  • Small and large mammals
  • Amphibians & reptiles
  • Flowering plants
  • Fungi
  • Aquatic plants
  • Images which clearly show a habitat i.e. chalk grassland, fen, meadow, heathland, woodland etc.
  • Older pictures of well-known sites can be good for showing change.

Images below: Slow worm (Ed Austin), Male sparrowhawk, Grey Heron (Steve Betts), Cardinal beetles, Fritillary (Matthew Jellings) Common blue butterfly (Helen Miller), Bluebells (Steve Betts).
