TVERC training

TVERC provides training for habitat and species surveys, biological recording and identification and in the use of GIS.
As well as an annual training programme of courses we can also offer bespoke training.
TVERC Training Course Programme
TVERC training courses are open to all who would like to improve their identification and recording skills. These introductory training courses are run by expert ecologists and aimed at beginners. The courses generally involve both indoor and outdoor sessions.
Course fees: Professionals £40/ Individuals £20 / Students £10*
*There are limited student places, given on a first come first served basis. Proof of student status will be required at time of booking.
Tea and coffee are provided but you will need to bring your own lunch, or bring money to buy lunch at the cafe.
2021 Training Programme:
Unfortunately, due to CV-19 restrictions the training courses for 2020 have been cancelled, we hope to reschedule it for 2021
TVERC Bespoke Training Provision on Request
TVERC can also offer bespoke training on a wide variety of topics and methodologies for organisations, planned and developed in discussion with your organisation to suit your specific requirements and timings. This may be a one-off workshop for your team or group, but could also include supporting and developing wider projects to train people in biological recording and surveying skills.
