Team Update

We have had some changes in our team over the last few months. We welcomed Amy Ross to TVERC in April as our Data Assistant. Amy has a masters in Endangered Species Recovery and Conservation from NTU. Her research focused on the impacts of boldness on home ranges in a semi-urban population of red squirrels. During her undergraduate degree with the Open University she worked on butterfly monitoring in Mexico and Peru, and developed a background in tropical and UK ecological surveying. Amy currently spends her spare time volunteering with her local wildlife groups, photographing wildlife, and crafting. She is looking forward to getting stuck in at TVERC.

Unfortunately, Robbie Still, our Data Manager is leaving us to be closer to home where he will be joining Kent Wildlife Trust as Wilder Landscapes GIS and Remote Sensing Officer. He will be much missed at TVERC and we look forward to see all the exciting projects you will be invoved in!

"I have loved my time at TVERC, it has been an amazing few years working with the team, the biological recording community and environmental stakeholders in Berkshire and Oxfordshire. I’ve learnt so much and have been lucky enough to be involved with some brilliant projects and some really passionate people, and I know the natural environmental of the two counties is in safe hands! I am moving onto work for the Kent Wildlife Trust on some really exciting rewildling projects, but I will make sure to stay in touch with the brilliant TVERC team and keep up to date on all the conservation projects going on!"
