TVERC's Noticing Nature programme brought people together across Oxfordshire to explore local wildlife, learn new identification skills, and connect with nature through a series of free, expert-led events as part of the WISH Partnership.

TVERC provides the trusted biodiversity data and expertise that Berkshire and Oxfordshire local authorities rely on to monitor environmental performance, report on key indicators, and meet their statutory responsibilities.

Since 2016, TVERC has partnered with the University of Oxford’s Micro-Internship Programme, providing students with valuable career experience while supporting our data management and analysis work, with six students joining us this June.

We’re excited to share the release of the TVERC Annual Report 2025/26, highlighting a landmark year in biodiversity data, community science, and environmental planning across Oxfordshire and Berkshire.

Over the past year, TVERC’s work with the WISH Partnership has shown how inclusive, low‑pressure Noticing Nature activities can build confidence, connection and care for the environment, helping people of all ages discover that nature recovery starts with curiosity, time and attention close to home.

Effective from 1st April 2026, TVERC will be implementing changes due to significant cost increases that have impacted our operational costs. These changes are necessary to ensure the continued collection, analysis, and provision of vital biodiversity data.
